Hey guys,
So I didn't actually realise how long it has been since I last posted, my last one was very early this year. I know that I also said in my last post that I was going to try and post a lot more. It only got me thinking about this the other day when I found out that my mum is starting up her YouTube channel again that made me kinda miss what I was doing here; not that people read it but I hope that one day people will.
I've made an instagram account specifically for my blog @justacasualblogger. I do still have my personal Instagram, I just feel that it is much easier for me to talk about the blog on another account.
Anyway, a lot has happened since I last posted and I am going to update you in the shortest way I can, but beware.
When I first made my blog I was 15, I am now actually 17 and just celebrated my birthday, whoo!! I have had 4 hours worth of driving lessons and have only stalled the car 5 times- wow thinking about that being 5 times sounds really bad. I actually really enjoy being in the drivers seat, I feel free even though I have an instructor next to me attacking the pedals on his side.
I also now have a job working at Hollywood Bowl which is my local bowling alley, I am a party host there and I love being around kids all day on a Saturday and Sunday as I have school during the week.
Talking about school- I PASSED MY GCSE’S!!! After getting awful results in both sets of mocks failing both I only went and passed them in the actual exams!!!!
My results went like this:
o Information and Creative Technology- M2
o English Language- B
o Mathematics (Higher)- C
o Art and Design-B
o Drama- E (I hated it anyway)
o History- D
o Media Studies- B
o French- C
o English Literature- C
o Science Core- D
o Science Additional- D
Yes, I am fully aware that I failed Drama, Science and History but there are good reasons for that. I absolutely hated Drama and never picked that option in the first place- all of the other options were full and that was my only option. I also struggled highly and History and many times broke down and cried to my teacher as well, my teacher was so lovely and picked me up so many times; I also found out recently that she got married so congrats to her. Then theres Science…… well for one my Additional teacher was crap, I mean he made every lesson a joke and never really taught us. My core teacher was alright, she never let the class do our own thing, meaning that she was constantly talking and repeating herself. Fun
But those results got me into 6th Form which I am really happy about. I originally wanted to peruse a career in Law so picked English, History and Psychology but after going through my exams and everything I knew that what I really wanted to do was travel. I know what you're going to say why didn't I just go straight to college, well I just wanted to have back up options just incase I hated college. I am currently studying Art, Craft and Design, Hospitality and Catering and IT.
Finally, I really can't remember if I mentioned it in one of my other blogs but I have a little sister, who is now 3 and a new addition- well not so new addition my brother Jude who turned one not long before I was 17!
